Counted cross stitch kit of Supermarine Spitfire, first flew in 1936, in full operational service in 1939, and the most well known fighter of World War II. One of eight small matching designs, also included in our large design A Century Flies Past.

The design contains only whole cross stitches - no part stitches - and some back stitches. The stitched measurements 6.6" x 4.1"/17 cm x 10.4 cm.

The finished embroidery will fit a frame measuring 9.8" x 7.25"/25.5 cm x 18.5 cm with a mount, or 6.9" x 4.3"/17.6 cm x 11 cm without a mount. The standard fabric is 14 count white blockweave Aida. 28 count evenweave 100% Cashel linen available as option for £3 extra. The kit as you will receive it from us also contains a cover sheet with colour picture, DMC stranded cottons in 19 colours ready-sorted on a thread organiser with the key, needle, easy to follow charts, both in black-and-white and in colour, full instructions for beginners, and specific instructions for this kit.
