Counted cross stitch kit of Gloster Meteor, replacing the Spitfire, the RAF's first jet fighter, and the Allies only jet fighter to enter service in World War II, having fighter/bomber/interceptor and reconnaissance roles, replaced by the Hawker Hunter. One of eight small matching designs, also included in our large design A Century Flies Past.

The design contains only whole cross stitches - no part stitches - and some back stitches. Stitched measurements 6.6" x 4.1"/17 cm x 10.4 cm.

The finished embroidery will fit a frame measuring 9.8" x 7.25"/25.5 cm x 18.5 cm with a mount, or 6.9" x 4.3"/17.6 cm x 11 cm without a mount. The standard fabric is 14 count white blockweave Aida. 28 count evenweave 100% Cashel linen available as option for £3 extra. The kit as you will receive it from us also contains a cover sheet with colour picture, DMC stranded cottons in 15 colours ready-sorted on a thread organiser with the key, needle, easy to follow charts, both in black-and-white and in colour, full instructions for beginners, and specific instructions for this kit.
