617 Squadron RAF Badge/Crest

Counted cross stitch kit of 617 Squadron Royal Air Force Badge/Crest, motto "Apres mois le deluge", with King's crown. 617 is the most famous RAF Squadron, still going, formed in 1943, specifically for Operation Chastise, more popularily known as the Dambusters raid, portrayed on the badge.

Contains only whole cross stitches - no part stitches - and back stitches. No mixed threads. Stitched measurements 3.8" x 5.2"/10 cm x 13 cm. Fits our frame D. Please note that frame is cheaper if ordered with kit. Fabric is black 14 count blockweave Zweigart brand Aida. Kit contains 12 shades of DMC stranded cotton threads, cut into metre lengths for optional fastening on by the loop method, ready-sorted on thread organiser printed with the key. Clear charts, both in monochrome and in colour, and explicit instructions, general and specific.
