Our design depicts a T-6/AT-6 Harvard, built by North American or under licence to them. This two-seater was the most famous World War II trainer/advanced trainer aircraft, and the most widely built trainer of all time, with many still flying today as private/civil aircraft as well as with some air forces. Many thousands of pilots in 34 countries trained in them, including Spitfire and Hurricane pilots in the Battle of Britain. Known as Texan in the US (also available) and as SNJ in the US Navy. The picture shows the RAF version. There are options for the same Harvard aircraft with Canadian, New Zealand or Australian roundels - please select from the list.

The design contains only whole cross stitches - NO PART STITCHES - and a few back stitches. The kit contains 17 shades of metre length (for fastening on by loop method) DMC stranded cottons ready sorted on thread organiser printed with the key. There are no mixed threads. Stitched measurements 11.25" x 4.75"/29 cm x 12 cm.

The finished embroidery will fit a frame measuring 32 cm x 22 cm (12.5" x 8.5") without a mount, or 43.5 m x 33.5 cm (17" x 13") with a mount.The standard fabric is 14 count white blockweave Aida. 28 count evenweave 100% Cashel linen is available as an option for £3 extra. The kit also contains suitable needle, easy-to-follow charts, small scale and large scale, and in both black and in colour, full instructions for beginners and specific instructions for this kit..
